An incredible floating stage on Lake Constance in Bregenz, Austria. The Bregenzer Festspiele (Bregenz Festival) has become renowned for its unconventional staging of shows. Verdi’s opera, “A Masked Ball” featured a giant book being read by a skeleton.
There’s an episode of SpongeBob where a group of prisoners build a stage like this, do a few performances, and then escape using the stage as a boat.
